Prepare for your Internship or Co-op Search
The Career Center has a number of resources available that can help you find and prepare for an internship or co-op.
Research
Do not overlook the value of self-assessment before launching an internship or co-op search. If you are not sure what you want to do, explore how your interests match up with career choices by attending the "Strong Interest Explorer", "Myers-Briggs Type Indicator", "Work Values", or "Skills and Accomplishments" workshops.
Find out what types of jobs are in your field of interest. In addition to research on the Internet, you can attend Career Center Networking Events to learn more about what people are doing in different fields.
Resume
You can get assistance building your resume by meeting with a Peer Career Advisor on a walk-in basis or scheduling an appointment with an advisor in the Career Center.
eRecruiting
Search for internships and co-ops on eRecruiting. New opportunities are posted each day exclusively to DePaul students. Start by completing your profile and uploading your resume. You can search and apply for positions as well as post your resume in a resume book.
