On-Campus Interviewing

The On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) Program brings hiring employers to DePaul's Loop and Lincoln Park campuses to host interviews and hold company presentations that highlight their available job opportunities. Employers hire primarily for entry-level professional positions and full and part-time internships. OCI is an extremely competitive program, with hundreds of Chicago and the nation's most prominent organizations interviewing and meeting with hundreds of DePaul students and alumni each year.

Participating in On-Campus Interviewing

To participate in On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) all students and alumni must:

All students and alumni that are selected for on campus interviews are strongly urged to attend the Career Centers' workshops on interviewing skills and resume and cover letter writing. Scheduling an appointment with a Career Center Advisor or a Peer Career Advisor to review your resume is also strongly encouraged. We also recommend that you complete a practice interview with Perfect Interview.

Register for the On-Campus Interviewing Orientation and Career Center workshops on eRecruiting.

For more information on OCI, visit the Frequently Asked Questions page.

On-Campus Interviewing Candidate Agreement

To give all students the opportunity to interview with the companies they are truly interested in, students should apply only for positions that they are interested in, qualified for, and wish to pursue. Similarly, students must have the intention to honor all interview commitments made, represent themselves accurately and honestly on resumes and in interviews, and stop interviewing once a job offer has been accepted. All job offers should be accepted in good faith, with the intention of honoring the commitment to the position. Once a job offer has been accepted, students must complete the Career Center Job Offer Report Form.

The Career Center compiles job offer information for statistical purposes for use by colleges and universities to research job markets and salary information. All information will be kept confidential.
