Complete Hiring Packet Paperwork
Hiring Packet Paperwork Includes:
Incomplete Hiring Packet – If, for any reason, your hiring packet is incomplete you and/or your supervisor will be notified that there is a problem. If you receive notification of incomplete paperwork, come to the Career Center as soon as possible to resolve the issue. Hiring packets will be considered incomplete if you do not have your employment eligibility documents, fail to complete or sign tax forms, or are missing the any of the above documents. Incomplete packets require the student to return to the Career Center. Payroll will be delayed. Important I-9 Form Reminders
Troubleshooting – You must stop working if the I-9 is not completed within 3 business days of the date employment begins. The employee (You) may not continue working until the I-9 is completed. F-1 or J-1 StudentsIf you do not yet have a Social Security card, one must be obtained from the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA). Learn how to get a Social Security card. Please visit the International Student Office (ISO) website for more information about working on-campus. Bring your SEAF to the Career Center and complete a Hiring Packet. You will need to make sure you bring appropriate identification that will establish your identity and eligibility to work in the US. Upon completion, an appointment will be made for you to meet with a Payroll representative to ensure:
