FAQs about Job & Internship Fairs
How should I dress for the Job & Internship Fair?
Job & Internship Fairs are your chance to make great first impressions on potential employers, so you should look your best and dress in professional attire. For men, this means wearing a business suit, white or solid colored shirt and a tie. For women this means wearing a business suit, either pants or a skirt, with a conservative shirt or blouse. A professional business suit skirt is typically loose and falls either just above the knee or lower.
Should I bring copies of my resume with me to the Job & Internship Fair?
Absolutely! Bring a stack of clean printed copies of your resume to pass out to employers who interest you most. Target a handful of companies whose opportunities interest you the most and talk one-on-one with their representatives of those companies, providing a copy of your resume to them in the course of your conversation.
