Recent Graduate Outcomes
Each year, the DePaul University Career Center surveys recent graduates to collect information about post-graduation employment and/or graduate school plans. Students are surveyed both at the time of graduation, as well as six months after degree completion. The below data is from survey respondents six months after degree completion.
DePaul Students: In Demand
Employers highly value DePaul’s practical education and its integration of classroom experience with the real world. They know that DePaul graduates are prepared for the workforce, and are known to have strong work ethics and integrity in addition to teamwork and communication skills. Post–Graduation Overview
All DePaul graduates are surveyed at graduation and six months after degree completion; included here is a summary of the reported results for the class of 2008.
According to survey responses, 86% of baccalaureate recipients were employed and/or in graduate school within six months of degree completion. 16% of graduates with bachelor’s degrees were enrolled in graduate school, and 4% chose to volunteer or engage in other activities (e.g., travelling) full time.
At the master’s level, survey respondents reported that 90% were employed and/or in graduate school within six months of graduation. 2.5% chose to volunteer or engage in other activities full time.
