The key to successful recruiting is building and maintaining a strong presence on
campus. The Career Center offers a variety of ways for you to maintain your visibility
and connect with students on campus.
Company Presentations
Generate interest in your organization, promote your company brand, and share important
recruiting information directly with students.

Pre-Interview Receptions
Get acquainted with interviewees. Discuss open positions, explain your organization’s
culture, and gain insight into interviewee interests.
Office Hours
Promote your organization through one-on-one advising sessions over a 2-3 hour period.
We will provide an office and develop customized marketing for your specific professionals/
representatives.
Career Workshops
Help students strengthen their career development skills and build your organization's
name recognition among students. Facilitate or attend as a guest speaker at select
workshops. Commonly facilitated topics include resume and cover letter development,
negotiation skills, interviewing skills, networking skills and how to work a job
and internship fair.
Networking Events
Build awareness of your organization as a desirable place to work and generate interest
in your field or industry by speaking at a
Career Networking Event. If you are interested in participating as a panelist,
please fill out our interest form.
Connect with Student Organizations
DePaul students have the opportunity to get involved with over 225 student organizations
on campus. These organizations currently engage over 2,000 student members. We can
help you identify organizations focused on your particular industry and inform you
of opportunities to connect with those students.
Centers and Institutes
DePaul is home to more than 45 Centers and Institutes, representing each school
and college. Many of these Centers and Institutes, including the Steans Center for
Community-based Service Learning, the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center and the Center
for Sales Leadership, offer opportunities to connect with students and engage with
industry experts.

Faculty Meetings
Host a meeting over breakfast, lunch or an afternoon coffee-break with faculty from
the department(s) of your choice. This is a great way to increase your campus presence
through faculty partnerships.
Information Tables
Attract students’ attention on-campus and distribute information regarding your
