Request a Student Temp

Student Temporary Services (STS) is a permanent solution for your temporary needs. An internal service offered through the Career Center, STS utilizes DePaul Students to fill internal temporary requests, rather than going to an external organization (when the assignment permits). Student temps are seeking a variety of work experiences, including Work Study students.

Your department can save up to 39% over an external temporary agency by utilizing Student Temporary Services:

* Student Temporary Services reserves the right to modify the pay rate or billing rate based on specific requirements.

Request a temp today! Complete the online Request a Temp form and Student Temporary Services will start working to find you a temp right away. Failure to provide budget chartfields on this form may delay temp processing.

External Temporary Requests

If a temp request includes a position that is not appropriate for a student employee, STS will work with your department and an external vendor to fill the temporary need. STS has a relationship with external vendors that provide exclusive benefits as opposed to going to the vendors directly. Temp requests filled through external vendors are managed by Student Temporary Services.

Conversion Fee

Please be aware that there may be a fee assessed for converting an external temp employee into a permanent DePaul employee, depending on how long the temp has been on assignment with your department. For more information please contact STS.
