This is a relaxed and casual way to meet the recruiter from KPMG and gain helpful information. (Attire is also casual.) These Office Hours are open to FRESHMAN & SOPHOMORE students majoring ACCOUNTING who are interested in INTERNSHIPS only. Space is limited and is available in 15 minute intervals on a first-come, first-served basis and by appointment only. To schedule a time, call the Employer Relations front desk at 312-362-5201. Join us to answer these questions and more as you learn key components of how to prepare for a teaching interview in an educational setting. This workshop examines best practices, exploring traditional and unique questions straight from principals, and hands-on practice to prepare for various interview situations. *Please Note: All orientations are facilitated in webinar format. This is a prerequisite workshop for UIP and must be completed in order to enroll in an academic internship course to earn Experiential Learning credit. Students who have not yet secured an internship are welcome to attend this workshop. The UIP Orientation provides you with the information you need to complete the enrollment process, and register for a University Internship Program course. In this workshop, you will learn the format and content of the UIP 250, 251, 252, 253, 254, 350 and 367 courses, as well as how completing an internship can help you explore career paths, gain valuable experience and connect with professionals in your area of interest. Note: For UIP Webinars, you will receive instructions via email the day before the scheduled webinar. An internet connection and the ability to hear audio is required to participate.

Career Week 2015 opens with a day of career and professional development opportunities you can't afford to miss! Hear an informative word from our highly acclaimed guest speaker, Leslie Andrews. Preceding brunch, you will have the opportunity to connect with offices that provide career resources at DePaul University via the information fair. After brunch, take advantage of breakout sessions and other career services. Separate registration is required for the breakout sessions following brunch. Opening Keynote Brunch: From Survival to Thriving in Today's Marketplace Highly acclaimed alumna and Hyde Park Consultant, Leslie Andrews (SNL '01), will share strategies for thriving in today's job market and maintaining resilience through challenge and transition. Leslie has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, serving in various leadership capacities from travel manager to global account manager. Currently, Leslie provides performance management, training, and education as lead consultant for HPC - Hyde Park Consultants ). Throughout her tenure with HPC she has worked with notable clients such as Agilent Technologies, NBC, the Illinois State Legislature, and City of Chicago (Mayor's Office of Workforce Development). Her corporate experience includes positions with Caterpillar, American Express, Jones Lang LaSalle, KPMG, and Embassy Travel. There's a lesson in every set back and missed opportunity. Awareness of the possibilities in these scenarios is the key to success in your job search. In this workshop, Coach Alison will reveal why resiliency is an incredible skill to have while making a career change and introduce strategies for cultivating it in the road ahead. Coach Alison Musgrave is an experienced executive and career coach. She supports people in creating stories around their successes to share with prospective employers. Alison is an alumna of Iowa State University and past student and friend of DePaul University. She has more than 20 years of business experience including holding senior positions with renowned corporations such as Dun & Bradstreet, Ogilvy & Mather, and Ziff-Davis.
