This forum offers new teachers the opportunity to gain
critical skills and network with principals and professionals in education.
Specifically, this event will provide opportunities to: gain insight through a
keynote address, participate in roundtable discussions, practice interviews
with principals (Note that space is limited and additional registration process
is required), and network with teachers, principals and fellow DePaul educator
alumni. This one day event is open to DePaul School of Education students who
will or have completed their student teaching experience and will be looking
forward to their first year of teaching and recent Education alumni.

This event will provide international students with an
opportunity to learn the essentials of the H1B hiring process from the student,
legal and employer perspectives.

Professionals in advising, counseling, human services and
social work will discuss what it is like to work in such fields, the required
education, as well as the challenges and rewards of working in these roles.

A panel of speakers working in a variety of education
functions will discuss their career experiences and answer your questions on
education careers. There will be ongoing resume review and networking with
education alumni.

be exhibiting their work and offering feedback to attendees who bring work.
